PRINCE GEORGE, BC – The Prince George Spruce Kings have given Jeff Earnest permission to pursue an opportunity to play with the Fairbanks Ice Dogs of the North American Hockey League (NAHL).

After missing a significant portion of the first half of the season due to a jaw injury, Earnest was able to return to the lineup in mid-November. In nine games this season, Earnest picked up three points (1 goal and 2 assists) and will finish his three years with the Spruce Kings with a record of 117 games played, 19 goals, 32 assists, 51 points and 118 penalty minutes.

"Jeff has decided that he wasn’t playing in a prominent enough role with our team and wanted to be moved," said Spruce Kings General Manager, Mike Hawes. "He will finish out his junior career with the Fairbanks Ice Dogs. I would like to thank Jeff for his efforts with us over the past three years and wish him good luck with his new team and in his future hockey career."
