Holiday Schedule For NH’s Transportation Program
Prince George, B.C. – Northern Health is out with a modified ‘holiday’ schedule for its ‘Connections’ buses that transport residents living in the region to medical appointments outside their home communities…
Starting tomorrow, Connections buses will begin their last routes for this year as follows:
- Prince George to Vancouver (via Kamloops) – December 20, return December 22
- Prince George to Prince Rupert – December 23, return December 24
- Prince George to Fort St. John – December 23, return December 24
- Valemount to Prince George – December 20, return same day
- McBride, Valemount to Kamloops – December 22, return same day
- Burns Lake to Terrace – December 22, return same day
- Fort Nelson to Grande Prairie – December 20, return December 22
- Prince George to Mackenzie – December 21, return same day
Northern Health’s Connections call centre will close at noon on Friday and will re-open on Tuesday, December 27th.
The regular bus schedule will resume, once again, on January 2nd. The program is available to anyone, regardless of age or income, needing to travel to an out-of-town medical appointment. Fares range from $20 to $80, depending on the distance of travel.
