Red Nose Volunteer Punched In Face For Doing Good

Prince George- A volunteer with Operation Red Nose has been assaulted while driving a man home.
A 22 year old man from Ft St James punched the operator of the vehicle in the face as he was being driven to his lodgings at 3.15am. this morning ( Sunday)
The man was arrested and has been lodged in the cells.
The driver was not injured.

it really has nothing to do with were they’re from but what they think of prince george and the people that live here. as long as they are not punished, enough to make them think twice, they will continue to treat us and ours with disrespect.
This is the society we live in.
White folks are the cause of natives turning criminal. They need education. I don’t know how to fix that and no one else does either. Handing them money is definitely the wrong approach.

Yeah, right, like there aren’t any white lowlifes from Fort St. James. How about Cody Legebokoff, presumed innocent but charged with four murders, and caught nearly red-handed for one of them?
At least he wasn’t caught “red nosed”.
Actually Fort St. James is practically a crime free town. The real culprit here folks is alcohol. The judges will make this into a travesty by letting this creep off scott free.

Kudos to every operation Red Nose volunteer. They go out and drive people safely home in the worst of weather, the last couple days particularly. Putting in shifts from 8:00pm till after 4 in the early am in some cases. While we are all snug in our beds they are helping keep our roads safer. Hope this incidence does not impact the program.
Come on people lets hear his side of the story. Prince George is the crime capital of Canada and maybe the red nose driver deserved to be punched in the face.
The fact we have people willing to drive drunks home at all hours of the night for free is strange in itself. Don’t we have cabs in this town?
Shut down Red Nose at midnight. The cab companies or the police can look after the rest.
I have to agree with NoSev on this one. I have rels that`ll pick me and my car up when we`re drunk but when they cant make it I usually take a cab.I sue to be a Taxi Driver and like to support one or two of our local Taxi services that run 24/7 365.
No punching peeps in the face though.
