Tuesday, December 20, 2011 @ 5:46 PM

Prince George, B.C.-  RCMP are hoping you can help them identify two suspects wanted in connection with  an attempt to pass some counterfeit money  at a  retail store on Southridge Avenue earlier this month.

Police say on December  2nd, two males approached the checkout with over $1000 in various items. The two men attempted to purchase the items with real currency combined with over twenty counterfeit $20 bills.

When the store manager was called, the two fled the store and ran across the parking lot where it is believed they met two other males. The suspects were gone by the time police arrived.

The counterfeit money was seized by the investigating officer. It is obviously counterfeit and likely a photo copy. All the bills had the same serial number.

Eeeediots!

Geez, now that makes it hard for anyone to pay cash. I’m not big on using my debt card, not fair.

Cashier has a good eye

I just got home from the gas station at Spruceland. This guy comes into the store and just knocks into me on purpose yet. I confronted him, he says, I’m punch your f… head. Tall shinny dude. Then of course the cashier gives me shit. I said you see that dog out there. I’m looking after my nieghbours dog while at camp cooking. It’s an American Bulldog. He left through the other door. Just punk ass town. Can’t even go to the store at midnight in this town without some punk starting something. I seen him before and you can tell he would start a fight bottom line. Chances are the RCMP would charge me instead of him.

People that work in a lot of these places are just no help at all, don’t care and call the cops if you protest, just bullcrap.

The system will not let us carry a gun, they want to look after us, if it was the States I could pull out a gun and arrest him for assault. I’m sick of it, I have had cops charge me in the past with less then what this jerk did to me tonight, in the store yet.

That sounds like the kind of well adjusted person who didn’t escalate a minor and insignificant situation for no reason. Frankly, I’m glad we live in a place where people like that aren’t allowed to carry guns.

On something actually related to this article, these don’t seem like very good counterfeiters if they were making photocopies. But they probably aren’t overburdened with intelligence. Counterfeiting is a pretty serious charge to have at 19, though something tells me this wouldn’t be their first run-in with the law. But what a way to start your career of crime!

The thought of dissident walking around with a gun looking to arrest people for assault for bumping into him brings me great comfort.

Too bad someone hadn’t sort of accidently ‘tripped’ them and then sort of ‘accidently’ fell on them as they were leaving the store.

After reading the poor diction from dissident, I would not like to see him carrying a gun either but the point he makes is that we are headed for vigilanteism if the justice system keeps failing us in this disrespective society. I know this is a sore subject but the number of gun related deaths is 19% less in a gun controlled society. Translated, that means in a 10% population in relation to the US, we are double as safe as their gun totin’ society. Sorry rednecks didn’t mean our system is better. They don’t have gun control but they do have the death penalty. If we had the same penalty, we would have 1/6th the deaths per capita. Does their justice work better? You bet it does! Sad to think. Osama would still be alive and free if he moved here.

Nice to know that the numbers (feet and inches) are surrounding the door frames in most retail outlets. Sure wouldn’t want some functional illiterate dropout witness guessing at the height of a perp upon his exit if he was raised on metric.
