Collision on 16 East

Prince George, B.C.- A stretch of Highway 16 east of Prince George has been closed because of a head on collision.
Information on the number of people involved and possible injuries is not yet available.
The crash involved an SUV and a GMC pick up truck at the turnoff to Upper Fraser .
Police remain on the scene, the highway could reopen  within the hour, an update will follow.
