Prince George, B.C. — After an opening game loss to Pirati Chomutov, the Cariboo Cougars have rebounded with a big 7-2 win over the Fort Saskatchewan Rangers Wednesday at the Mac’s AAA Tournament in Calgary.

Nathan Craft and Jake LeBrun each scored twice with Brett Roulston, Hayden-James Berra, and Ryan Forbes also getting a goal each.

David Readman was solid in net for the Cougars with Cariboo outshooting the Rangers 36-21.

Next up for the Cats is a matchup with the Tisdale Trojans Thursday night before wrapping up round-robin play Friday against the Calgary Northstars.  In order to win their pool and advance to the playoff round, the Cougars must win out and hope for a Chomutov loss.
