It’s A Boy!

Sunday, January 1, 2012 @ 4:42 PM

Prince George, B.C.- The first baby to be born in Prince George  in 2012, is a boy.

Zachary James Hansford was born at the University Hospital of Northern BC this afternoon at 1:13 p.m. local time to mom Sherisse and dad Ryan Hansford of Prince George. Zachary weighed in at seven pounds, six ounces.

The baby is the first for the Hansfords.

At the time of this posting, there have not yet been any arrangements made for a photo of Zachary and his parents.

I think its the year of the boy. In my family in town we have 6-boys due over three months (four due on the same week including mine), and a guy I work with has a boy on the way as well.

Congrats to the family and this young man

But I still get confused when the call it th University Hospital of Northern BC. Too complicated and confusing sounds like it should be located up at the University I much preferred PGRH. But I guess what is done is done and again the public had no choice (seems like life)

Have a great 2012!!!

The full name (UHNBC) is for the media. For the rest of us, just call it “The Hospital” and be done with it.

the 5th floor of the hospital is teaching and classrooms … Northern Medical program I believe is teh proper name … Doctors, and all other medical professions are being taught there …. Thats why they changed their name … UHNBC is a tounge twister for sure … Apparently … it sounds more credible than PGRH …
