Skifest Sunday at Otway Road Trails

Prince George, B.C. – Cross-country skiing enthusiasts are invited to Skifest at 8141 Otway Road tomorrow.
Skifest is a worldwide celebration of Cross-Country skiing, with an emphasis on getting families and first-time skiers out on the trails.
Tomorrow there are no trail fees, and plenty is planned to fuel your engine prior to venturing out.
There’s a pancake breakfast from 8:30 to 11 a.m. with pancakes, bacon or sausage, juice, coffee or tea for just 5-dollars.
Free lessons are offered for beginner classic skiing at 11:30 a.m., with sign-up by 11:15 outside the rental office. There’s a wiener roast with hot chocolate at noon at the gravel pit. And meet outside the rental shop before noon for ski trail tours of Pine Flats running until 3 p.m. If you want more info give Cloey a call at 250-612-3948.

Otway is a great venue for family outings, workouts (winter and summer) and for the 2015 Winter Games. If you have ever wanted to try out x-country skiing, do it here because it is beautiful on the trails at Otway.
