Walk For Maddy Set for End of Month

Prince George, B.C.- Friends and family of Madison Scott are planning a special vigil for January 28th.
 
20 year old Madison disappeared from a campsite at Hogsback Lake near Vanderhoof on May 28th. (Click here for most recent story) Since that time, friends and family have worked tirelessly to find her and have launched numerous campaigns to raise awareness about her disappearance. 
 
On the 28th of this month, , the “Walk for Maddy – Hope , Love, Faith” will start at the Mapes Hall at 2 p.m. , and make the 4 km trek to Hogsback Lake.   Once there, participants are invited to write a message on a luminary  which will be placed around the campsite  around 5 p.m.
 
Organizers say the walk is to “keep the awareness out front, gather positive energy an to light the way for Maddy’s safe return home to us all”  The school district has donated buses to carry walkers back to the vehicles at Mapes Hall after the event at Hogsback Lake is over.
