Collision at 5th and 97

A traffic light standard blocks the southbound lane of highway 97,  on the southside of the  5th Avenue  intersection

Prince George, B.C. A collission at  5th Avenue and  Highway 97 has resulted in the southbound lanes  from  5th to  10th being closed.

A vehicle took out a  traffic light standard.

RCMP Corporal Craig Douglass says the collision does not appear to involve serious injuries, but  it will take some time to clear the  area and re-open the southbound lanes.

Traffic is being diverted west on 5th, or east on 5th.

Driver from Surrey explains it all.. if the roads were wet he wouldn’t be on the roads.
