Spruce Kings Draw A Blank In Penticton

Prince George, B.C. – The Penticton Vees scored two goals in the first and two in the third in a 4-0 victory at home over the Prince George Spruce Kings on Saturday night.
The shots on goal were close, 25-22 in favour of the Vees. PG Netminder Kirk Thompson was in goal all 60-minutes.
With the win, Penticton continues to lead the Interior Division with 72-points. Merritt sits at second with 53-points. And Prince George is well back in third place with just 43-points, one ahead of the 4th place Chilliwack Chiefs, who have two games in-hand.
Today, the Spruce Kings play a matinee in Vernon. Game time is 2pm.
