Pair Charged In Connection With Truck Theft

Prince George- Two men, one with an extensive record, have been charged in connection with the theft of a truck, and a trailer from the 9100 block of National Place in Prince George.
25 year old Daniel Lee Gerow is charged with B&E, theft over 5,000 dollars and possession of stolen property. He is also charged in connection with the theft of a truck from the Pine Center Mall on December 19th.
Charged along with Gerow is 22 year old Michael John Ricketts, also of Prince George.
Police were able to apprehend the pair after two adult males were found walking along Ferry Ave, by a police dog, near were the stolen truck had been abandoned.
Both are scheduled to appear in court on January 17th.
Gerow is already wanted on an outstanding warrant for theft of a skid steer type tractor in Dawson Creek.

I’m sure I’ve read that name in the news before… wonder if he’s a repeat offender…

So why are they still out walking around stealing? How much time and money is wasted on these repeat offenders? Got to be a better way to deal with them than what we are currently doing.

I knew that kid when he was in elementary school. Looks like he made some poor life choices.

Ineffective justice system continues to show same results.
