Prince George, B.C.- RCMP have apprehended a Prince George woman who has been unlawfully at large since mid December.
A Canada Wide Warrant was issued on December 16th, 2011, when 50 year old Antoinetta Pozzebon, failed to return to her halfway house in Prince George.
Pozzebon has over 100 criminal convictions over 32 years, primarily property related. She was released on Parole for convictions of Break & Enter, Possession and Use of a Stolen Credit Card and two counts of Theft Under $5000.
Last evening, around 5:10, members of the Prince George RCMP’s General Duty Section attended a residence on the 2100 block of Upland Street in Prince George, in hopes of locating Pozzebon.
While speaking with a resident at the front door, who claimed Pozzebon was not there, Pozzebon was apprehended by other officers as she exited the back of the residence.

She should feel happy that it wasn’t one of the dog officers!
Obviously this person should not be allowed to roam free anymore, for her own protection! After ignoring 100 convictions (!) including Break and Enter she may run into a couple of 80 pound Rottweilers on her next B&E adventure. Then, it’s curtains under gruesome circumstances.
And the problem with feeding the Rottweilers is what?
Yawn.
Yet another example of the failure of Canadas justice system.
I suppose she is a victim or something.
That’s what some would have us believe about the plight of career criminals.
I think we can all agree that this 50 year old woman is not intent on reforming her behaviour.
She must be doing this for the rush it gives her when fleeing ‘justice’.
Tell me she is not eligible for O.A.S. if she lives to be 65. Please.
For what she has cost the system in 32 years, she should be put to work for a long time at a low wage, pay it back to the honest taxpaying citizens that support the system that enables her continued juvenile behaviour.
metalman.
Nothing in the story about the resident LIAR being charged with misleading a peace officer or obstruction, sure hope it happens. As for this prolific and long term offender, any Crown out there who is gonna make application to keep her in jail for a few years? It’s time, dontcha think?
Wow 100 known criminal convictions in 32 years. At what point do we deal with this. Thank you Trudeau, you really did us a favor. Thats what you get when you get bleeding hearts looking after your interests.
Hey PrinceGeorge, it must be the fluoride in the water…LOL
Any ideas on solutions? She has been a criminal for 2/3s of her life and obviously doesn’t care. She has probably cost the system hundreds of thousands of dollars and victim impacts are who knows what. Too many bleeding hearts to go for the death penalty so what’s fair to society with this waste of space?
Are you seriously advocating the death penalty for someone whose crimes are primarily property related? You’re scum.
