Prince George, B.C. – Highway travel throughout northern B.C. is not recommended this morning following a heavy snowfall throughout the region Friday and overnight.
A Snowfall Advisory remains posted for the Prince George Region on the Environment Canada website this morning with another ten centimeters expected before the situation eases late this afternoon. The rule of thumb this morning is if you don’t have to travel, don’t. Out to the northwest Highways 37 and 37A have travel advisories in effect from the junction with Highway 16 north due to heavy blowing snow.
