Prince George, B.C. – The 36th Mardi Gras Snow Daze Winter Festival is underway with all kinds of events planned through to February 19^th.  Snow Daze this year has a Mardi Gras New Orleans theme, with participants encouraged to dress up in costumes reflecting that festival.

Snow Daze kicked off with the Mr. Prince George pageant last night at the Ramada Hotel.   The festival includes events for people of all ages, with Fun Fair Days planned for kids and seniors. The annual OTL Tournament is being held at Dillman’s field on Muralt Road in Beaverly next weekend, on the 11^th and 12th. Snow Daze Talent Night is lined up for February 17^th at the Treasure Cove Show Lounge, and there’s a Curling Funspiel at the Prince George Golf and Curling club on the 18^th. You can check the Mardi Gras Snow Daze website for a complete schedule of events.
