Prince George, BC – After going down 2-0 in the first period, the Cariboo Cougars scored seven straight en route to a 7-2 victory over the Thompson Blazers in Chase last night.
It was a slow start for the Cats as goaltender, David Readman, allowed two shots on three goals before Nathan Craft scored his first of two to cut the lead to one after the first period.
Raymond Grewal went end-to-end early in the second to tie the game at two. From there on, it was all Cougars with Craft getting the go-ahead goal midway through the second.
The Cougars and Blazers play again this morning in their final match-up of the season. The game will be broadcast live at www.cariboocougars.ca
