Polar Dip Goes Today At Ness Lake
Sunday, February 19, 2012 @ 7:44 AM
Prince George, B.C. – The delayed Ness Lake Bible Camp Polar Dip will be held today.
At 2:33 this afternoon, an unknown number of hearty souls will hop into the frigid waters of Ness Lake to raise money for the bible camp’s bursary fund. It costs $20 to take the dip. The event was to have been held New Year’s Day but had to be postponed following the massive New Year’s Eve fire that destroyed the gymnasium building. The Fraser-Fort George Regional District last week gave the go ahead to replace the building with an even larger structure. Construction is to start at the end of February. The design of the building hasn’t been completed so the cost of the project is as yet not finalized.
This will be the 11th annual Polar Dip at Ness Lake.
