Family Y Adds Five Faces to Board
Prince George, BC – The Family YMCA of Prince George elected five new members to its Board of Directors at its Annual General Meeting .
Five, three-year term vacancies were filled by Marshall Smith, Tara Bogh, Andrea Martin, Rod Bellmann and Ron Epp.
"Our new Board members are an excellent complement to our current directors, says Mark Miller, CEO. They reflect the interests and values of our community and their experience will play a key role as the YMCA creates relevant policies and programs that support children and families in Prince George."
Continuing their terms of office on the Board are: Cheryl Wallace, Fraser Deacon, Kim Hess, Mike Davis, Jason Blackman, Pat Flack, Peter Vogt, Selen Alpay, Rob Traxler and Roxanne Ricard.
"2012 will be a strategic year for the Family YMCA, says Peter Vogt Chairperson. Creating new child care spaces, launching a teen leadership summer camp and expanded regional programs will keep staff and Board very busy."
