People SLOW DOWN…I was driving home today as I live just outside the city core and my car has new studded winter tires….I could tell how icy it was and I was doing the speed limit and it was like i was in the slow lane on the I5…people where passing me like I was standing still…this included chip trucks…loaded wood trucks and lots of L’s on the back of their cars and trucks…my god drivers it is pure ice on them roads SLOW DOWN…
This isn’t Vancouver. Most people that live here can actually drive in the snow.
Dragon, you think a 70 year old from Quesnel thought the same thing?
I’m sure everyone thinks that they know what they are doing just before the bumper of the Semi goes through their face.
Slow down, drive to the road conditions.
Don’t worry Dragonmeister is a chip truck driver. We all know they wrote the book onn prefessional driving :)
Ps – condolences to the family and friends. Winter roads always seem to take a toll
I always get a kick out of the truckers spun out on Peden Hill. They even have a chain-up area. For their sake alone it would be a lot safer to chain -up before the hill. Yesterday 2 rigs spun out on Peden Hill.
I agree- slow down everyone.
However, she was a very cautious and careful driver. :’-( Sometimes the roads are just really bad and the totally unexpected can happen- in 30 sec of your life. When it happens to your family you will understand.
