School Districts Release Job Action Plans

Prince George, B.C.- The School Districts throughout the Province have released information on how school will be handled Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week when teachers will be off the job.
SD 57 Prince George: Schools are open, but, parents have been advised not to send students to school if at all possible. No bus service Monday or Tuesday. Parents will be advised Tuesday if there will be bus service on Wednesday. Students who are sent to school will be supervised, but there won’t be any instruction.
That is not the story for all schools throughout the Central Interior and the North. ( note, there has been no information made available by SD87 – Stikine)
SD 27 Cariboo/Chilcotin – No bus service. Students are being advised not to attend school.
SD 28 Quesnel – No bus service, schools will be closed.
SD 54 Bulkley Valley – No bus service, parents are asked to either keep students at home or find alternate child care .
SD 59 Peace River South – No bus service. Students are not to attend.
SD 60 Peace River North – No bus service. Parents are being asked not to drop off students at school.
SD 81 Fort Nelson – No bus service. Schools will be open, but parents are being asked to keep students at home.
SD 91 Nechako Lakes – No bus service, the schools will be open, but parents are being asked to keep students home.
SD 92 Nisga’a – Schools open, but again, parents are being asked to keep students at home.
