Fire Damages Quince Street Duplex

Prince George, B.C. – Damage is estimated at $50,000 in a duplex fire this morning in the 2100 block Quince Street.

 

Fifteen firefighters from 3 halls responded to the blaze in a side-by-side 2-storey duplex at 11:24 this morning. Fire and heavy smoke were coming from a window on one side of the building. The tenants had evacuated the structure and firefighters were able to quickly douse the flames.

 

The fire is not considered suspicious at this time, but an investigator has been brought in to determine the cause.   There were no injuries to the tenants or responding firefighters. Victim services has been brought in to care for the families.

Shoulda put the new RCMP building at 20th and Victoria. Right twixt downtown and “where the action” always is. IMO.
