Prince George, B.C. – Classes resume  in School District 57 today.  Bus service is restored.

The three day strike action may be over, however,  teachers will resort  back to the "phase 1 teacher job action" that has been in effect since last fall.

SD 57 says  exempt Staff will continue to provide supervision on the usual schedule.

The teachers are allowed to strike again on Monday, although  they have not yet indicated if they will exercise that  option.  The legislation  ( Bill 22)  to end the teachers  job action  is expected to  be passed by the end of next week.
