PGMHA Regular Season Draws To A Close
PeeWee House 2 final game of the season at the Elks Centre
Prince George, BC – In the final game of the Pee Wee House 2 season, PG Esporta trounced Lo & Elliott Orthodontics 12-1.
The game was not a true representation of how evenly matched all four teams in the division were this season. Lo & Elliott actually finished first overall, but PG Esporta had final say in today’s play-off wrap up.
This weekend sees an end to the regular season for Prince George Minor Hockey. Three Tier 1 teams will be representing PGMHA at provincials over spring break:
Midget Tier 1 – Coast Inn of the North
Bantam Tier 1 – Farr Fabricating Ltd.,
Pee Wee Tier 1 – Viking Construction Ltd
And the following teams won the Cariboo League playoffs to advance to provincials, as well:
Midget Tier 2 – Hurricane High Pressure
Bantam Female – Western Industrial Contractors
Pee Wee Female – Best Western City Centre
Meantime, the 15th Annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner for coaches, assistant coaches, team managers and others involved in the association goes this Wednesday evening at the Coast Inn of the North.

Hats off to the volunteers!
It will be interesting to see what happens to minor hockey next year when they shut down KIN 1 for the year. (Or 2 which is the more likely scenario).
