T-Wolves In the Hunt for National Titles

Prince George, B.C. – The UNBC Timberwolves Men and Women will be on the basketball courts in two different cities today, as they battle to be named National Champion.
UNBC President George Iwama is in Truro Nova Scotia where the men are set to hit the court at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College at 9:00 a.m. Pacific this morning. This is the fourth straight year in the Nationals for the men, and they hope to bring the championship title home for the second time having won it in 2010. They take on the Red Deer College Kings. Jason Kerswell, the Director of Athletics and Recreation is with the women’s team in Lethbridge.
The women are the #3 seed and face the Ontario champion Algonquin Thunder from Ottawa at 7:00 pm Pacific this evening.This is the second time the women’s basketball team has made it to the Nationals, the fires time was in 2008.
