Regional District Fraser Fort George SetsTax Rates

Prince George, B.C.- The Regional District of Fraser Fort George has approved it’s financial plan for 2012. The plan calls for expenditures of $29,272,750 of which $17,096,010 would come through tax requisition.
 
Overall, the budget is  up $1.3 million over last year, with the largest increase coming in the solid waste management services. That service is up $567 thousand over last year.
 
While each area within the regional district pays at a different rate depending on the services provided in each area, the Prince George rate works out to $74.86 per $100 thousand dollars of assessment. That is up from the $69.98 per $100 thousand paid last year.
