Mellencamp Coming to P.G.

Prince George, B.C.- The CN Centre has announced John Mellencamp is coming to Prince George., Mellencamp will bring his heartland pop-rock to the CN Centre on Father’s Day, June 17th.Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on March 10, 2008, Mellencamp has had 22 songs in the top 40 charts.
“His songs document the joys and struggles of ordinary people seeking to make their way, and he has consistently brought the fresh air of common experience to the typically glamour-addled world of popular music” says Rolling Stone magazine.
Mellencamp’s “No Better Than This” tour will feature special guests Cowboy Junkies.
Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday morning at 10.
