Hot tub at Ten Mile Lake that was bare of snow three hours ago, wears a fresh 4-5 inches
Prince George, B.C.- The band of snow that has moved through Prince George, has left driving conditions on highway 97 south of Prince George anything but ideal.
Drive B.C. is reporting limited visibility on highway 97 in both directions between Quesnel and Williams Lake.
While areas of Prince George have seen about 2 inches of fresh snow, at Ten Mile Lake, at least 4 inches of fresh white stuff was dumped.
With so many enjoying the recent spring conditions switching back to winter driving conditions may be a tough order. Drivers should exercise caution and drive according to conditions. Expect to see icy conditions overnight as the temperature drops.

OOOPS Costco put out the BBQ’s too soon!
The carbon tax is saving us from the onslaught of global warming/climate change this year. Here in the PG area anyway.
Just raked the front yard on the weekend for crying out loud and gathered some stray Christmas ornaments from around the house and yard, hauled out the patio furniture….got too cocky, I think!
Raked the yard where the snow was melted last week. Picked up sticks, pine cones and what every the winters snow left us. Had a beer to celebrate the tulips coming up. With the wind storm we had in the beginning of the week. That dropped double the sticks and pine cones. Now we get the snow to cover it all back up. It feels like the first day of winter not the first day of spring. Glad I didn’t take my winter tires off, mind you..I thought about it. Where’s global warming!! Its the Cariboo. Gotta love it.
