Yes the numbers are up.
Green fired a whole bunch of people
and only hired one for herself.

Really, thats funny the other day I heard Christy Clark bragging about how many jobs the liberals have made in BC.

Well Pval, provincially the rate is down 1.1% while PG is up 1.6%. I would say that means an increase in jobs overall. Whether that’s because of the Liberals or not is another story ;-)

Do the initials IPG mean anything when it comes to job creation? i.e. investment creating jobs? Gee! They sure have a swell website anyway.

You know P Val …. when it comes to the provincial economy, it may come as a surprise to some, but it is not all about PG …..

What it is is all those people that have been told this is where it is happenin’, they come here and, until they actually have a job, they get logged into the local unemployment numbers ….

I think we need to count people who are working instead of people who are not working – how many people do we have and how many of them are working, how much are they making, how much of it is taxable, and how much of it is going to Ottawa to keep the grass green.

How negative can one get …. unemployed … I mean, it’s as if we are in the dark ages.

Electricians
Plumbers
Welders…..

70-100k+ per year. Taxable

for once I agree with gus…..

Who do you believe? It’s up and down every month. Depends who’s yappin.

Is the HST working creating jobs? Or what? I wasn’t lied to, was I?

I often wonder if they even consider those who have ehausted there EI claim, and have now dropped off the radar. Good luck to all the over 50 group who were loyal to their employer for 30+ yrears, and were then laid off in the name of efficiency seeking.

I would hazard a guess that 7 – 10% of our population are unemployable. There can be many reasons for this, no DL, can’t pass drug test, don’t have Grade 12, and no work ethic.
Old Economics 101 proph told me that 35 years ago, and it still rings true. If you have 92-94% employed you are at full employment, it won’t get much better. We are there!
