Thief With A Penchant For Good Coffee
Prince George, BC – Apparently, there’s a thief out there who needs his java fix – and regular, run-of-the-mill coffee-makers just won’t do…
Prince George RCMP say a bold ‘barista’ has allegedly stolen three times from the same local business, twice on the same day.
Police say the first incident occurred last Saturday when the man entered the London Drugs store at Parkwood Place Mall. (photo at right courtesy PG RCMP)
He allegedly removed a Keurig brand coffee maker from the shelf and left without paying. The second and third thefts allegedly occurred on Tuesday, when the suspect first took a Tassimo coffee maker, later in the day it was a Cuisinart brand maker.
The total value of the thefts is over $500.

He’s described as a non-White male, 25-35 years old, approximately five-feet four inches tall, with a stocky build.
He has short brown or black hair.

The more likely scenario is that he is stealing to fill orders. I find it pretty interesting that he got away with 3 thefts from that store, because they’ve had the most high-tech security systems for a long time. Maybe it’s time to start thinking about a new loss prevention officer.
Either that, or start chopping hands off.
Better find that guy a healing circle!
London Drugs, eh? At least there wasn’t a riot to precede this “looting”.
At 5’4″ I’d say he’s a long time user. I hear the Tassimo machine is a gateway to the more potent expresso variety. I’d watch the Mickey D’s next time they promo free coffee – he’ll be there.
Hmmmm nice photos maybe he will get off I cleaned my glasses but still didn’t see any coffee maker in either photo…maybe this is not the right guy ???? maybe he can sue now for slander.
Hope the Tassimo coffee maker he stole was not one on the recall list. Would hate to see him inconvienced to return it:-)
Looks like he was making a “break for coffee”.
No coffee machines in them pictures where is the proof ? How is he already a thief with no evidence?
I would bet they posted the pictures that show his face as clearly as they could, rather than the ones they have of him carrying a coffee machine.
Tell it to the judge. One day in jail and eighteen months probation. It’s that easy. Wish I was a judge.
Cameras tell it all, unfortunately nobody was available at the time, to act upon it. Rumor has it, that the pickings are good!!
These are pictures of him ENTERING the store, not leaving.
