No One Injured in Duplex Fire

Prince George, BC – Five occupants were home when a fire broke out in a duplex in the VLA Neighbourhood this evening…
Two were examined on-scene by paramedics with the BC Ambulance Service, but were later released. Prince George Fire Rescue was called to a residential structure fire in the 1400-block of Diefenbaker Drive.
Assistant Fire Chief, Denis Poulin, says smoke was spewing from a bedroom in one of the four units in the duplex. He says, "An interior attack quickly knocked down the fire."
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but Poulin estimates the damate at approximately $15-thousand dollars.
