Death Not Suspicious

Prince George, B.C.- An autopsy on the  remains of an adult  male found yesterday  west  of Foothills Boulevard  has been completed and there are no signs of foul play. 

Investigators are satisfied this death was not a homicide.

The deceased male was a 29 year old resident of Prince George.  His name will not be released.

The investigation has been handed over to the BC Coroner’s Service.

If there are no suspicions concerning this death, then why will they not be releasing his name?

It has been tradition that suicides are not reported in the news. I have no idea if this was the case here but, it would be a typical reason not to release the deceased’s name. If suicides were widely reported, you would likely be surprised at the numbers seen year to year. The disabled have seen an steady increase in their suicide rates due to total lack of caring by provincial and Federal governments. Inflicted poverty takes its toll, but to release the number would be too embarassing to our governments. Ask a disabled individual if they know of someone (disabled) who has killed themselves, and you will likely see just how terrible the situation has become, particularly in British Columbia.
