PRINCE GEORGE, BC – A 27 year old Prince George resident has won the Spruce Kings Show home lottery.
Justin Francoeur held the winning ticket number 1107 which was drawn before a crowd of onlookers.
Francoeur, a 27 year old resident of Prince George, bought the winning ticket at Canadian Tire in the first week of the Lottery and was informed of his good fortune moments after the grand prize draw.
Arriving at the House a short time later with his wife, the couple had their first look at their new home.
“This is such a feel good story,” said Spruce Kings Show Home Lottery Manager, Jim Young after meeting the winner at the house. “He has a young family and was wondering where money was going to be coming for his son’s medical needs. This changes the lives of at least four people immediately. They are now mortgage free and can worry about those things that matter most.”
“I was moved by the emotional story behind this year’s winner,” added Young. “It’s such a great way to end this year’s Lottery. We want to thank everybody that supported the House Lottery this year,”

Super, super, super. What a good news story. OK, I didn’t win, but it sure sounds like a family that needed it won. Congrats Justin and your family.
Great.
Awesome news to read first thing in the morning. Congratulations Justin and your family!
Wonderful news.
Not really a family house but I’m sure they will manage. :)
Okay well I wanted it but fair enough sounds like they needed it. Congratulations.
Ditto!
Congratulations Justin. Very appropriate.
I have known this young lady since she was a baby….This could not have happened to a nicer more deserving couple…with what they have gone through with their first child…this is one of those stories that just makes you think that good things really do happen to good people….
Keep up the fine tradition, all of you involved in the Spruce King organization.
This annual house raffle supports the community, the organization, and in this case, a young family who really deserve a leg up. Bravo!
