UHNBC In Line for New Lecture and Library Space
Prince George, B.C.- The University Hospital of Northern B.C. is taking another step in its role as a teaching hospital. The Province has announced it is moving forward with planning for improvements to education facilities to support medical training at UHNBC.
The improvements include a library and lecture space to enable small- and large-group learning for students and residents in the Northern Medical Program. The project includes additional wireless network and videoconferencing technology that connect the hospital’s students, residents and staff with instructors and fellow trainees throughout the province.
The initial cost estimate is up to $10 million, with the final number to be determined once the business plan and tendering process are finalized.

That’s wonderful. And I think we deserve it too. But, how about the Honorable Shirley Bond and Pat Bell re-direct some of their handouts to basic infrastructure for our city first? Like streets?
maybe the parking fines at the hospital should be directed to the new library..
just a thought
must be a stand alone building or addition to the hospital for that amount.
Seems to me that when the Cancer staff now situated in the hospital move to the new facility, they will leave a lot of space behind. The whole south east side of the building second floor is where the Cancer, Kemo people are now located.
umm i think we need doctors for the people that live here!
