Prince George, B.C. – Two men are custody and Police are searching for two others in connection with a report of a kidnapping and assault on the weekend.

 

On Sunday evening, April 15^th, Prince George RCMP received a report of kidnapping and assault in a rural area east of Prince George.

 

A number of RCMP officers attended the Ferndale area and located an adult male victim suffering from serious, but non-life threatening injuries. The man was transported by the BC Ambulance Service to the University Hospital of Northern BC for treatment.

 

It is believed the victim was being held for a number of days in a residence in the rural community. The Prince George RCMP’s Serious Crime Section was called into assist with the investigation. 

 

Officers attended the residence located on Upper Fraser Road and arrested a 32 year old male without incident. While searching the residence for other suspects and victims, a small marihuana grow operation was located along with stolen property. Search warrants were obtained. 

 

A second suspect, a 35 year old adult male, was arrested without incident on Monday April 16^th at approximately 12:00 (noon).
