Now Why Did I Call 911?

Thursday, April 26, 2012 @ 3:58 PM
Prince George, BC – RCMP responded to an abandoned 9-1-1 call early Monday and found more than they expected…

Just before 3:00 AM, General Duty officers responded to the call on the 1200 block of Burden Street in the City. On arrival, an adult female resident advised officers that she had dialed 9-1-1 in error.

The officer explained to the woman that he needed to clear the residence to ensure the safety of any occupants.

During the search of the residence a marihuana grow operation was located in the basement. An adult male was also located in the residence.

A search warrant was obtained for the residence. Over 260 marihuana plants in various stages of grow were seized along with cultivation equipment.

Both the 38 year old male and 32 year old female suspects were taken into custody for Production of a Controlled Substance and were later released with a promise to appear at a later date.
