Prince George, B.C.- The Jim Pattison Broadcast Group has signed an affiliate agreement with Citytv and its parent company Rogers.
Under what is termed a “long term agreement”, Citytv will deliver about 90% of programming on CKPGTV Prince George, CFJC TV7 in Kamloops and CHAT TV in Medicine Hat as of September 1st. This will include the Breakfast Television show aired out of Vancouver.
All three B.C. TV stations will continue to operate with their current management teams and personnel.

Does this mean the picture quality is going to improve. Cause it really sucks when the CKPG news is being broadcast.
I think what it really means is even less local content will be aired on CKPG.
metalman.
Still won’t make it watchable.
I wonder how many in the PG region receive their broadcast TV over the airwaves rather than cable, satellite, telephone, or internet.
I would think that for those using the more modern systems they would get one or more versions of CITY programming already anyway.
I like the local news… wish they still had the hockey night in Canada though….
