Vanderhoof, B.C. – RCMP in Vanderhoof are investigating a break in at a hangar at the Vanderhoof Airport.
Police say they got the call last night, advising that the door to the hangar had been kicked in. Two small planes in the hangar had been vandalized.
“The complainant says the incident could have happened at any time over the past two or three days” says Sgt Anthony Hanson of the Vanderhoof RCMP detachment.
Although the initial report does not specify damage estimates, he says the owners are being advised to thoroughly check the planes before planning any flights.
The investigation is on going.

It is a federal criminal act to damage aircraft.
“Only if you get caught”. It’s on the bottom of the last page in The Criminal Code of Canada book.
