Stabbing Suspect In Court Today

Prince George, B.C. – A 30-year-old Prince George man is to appear in Provincial Court today on charges related to a stabbing in the city Saturday night.
A 50-year-old man suffered what police termed a life-threatening stab wound to the chest in an altercation in an apartment in the 1500 block Queensway Avenue around 10pm Saturday. The victim was rushed to University Hospital where he underwent emergency surgery. The RCMP says the most recent word from the hospital had the man listed in serious condition.
Police say the victim and alleged assailant are acquainted. They have not said what charges the suspect may be facing.
