Elderly Woman Rushed To Hospital

Prince George, B.C. – An elderly woman has been rushed to hospital in Prince George following an incident near Fort George Park this afternoon.
At about 1:25 PM, the RCMP attended a location near Fort George Park in response to a male screaming for help. Upon arrival police officers found that a 75 year old female was suffering from an unknown medical condition or injury.
The RCMP members provided first aid to the female until the BC Ambulance Service and Prince George Fire / Rescue arrived.
The female was transported by the Ambulance Service to the University Hospital of Northern BC for further assessment.
Foul play is not suspected.
