Arrest Made in Connection with Weekend Shooting In Quesnel

Quesnel, B.C.- An arrest has been made in connection with a weekend shooting in Quesnel.

RCMP were called to a home in the 400 block of Harltey Street early Saturday morning after numerous shots had been fired at a residence.  While no one was hurt,  bullets did  enter one window, and pierced exterior walls.
 
By  7 p.m on Saturday,  RCMP had taken a 26 year old male into  custody. He faces charges of Discharging a Firearm with Intent to Endanger Life (Section 244 (b) Criminal Code) and two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking.  He has been remanded in custody until Wednesday, June 6th when he will make his first formal court appearance in Quesnel. 
 
On Sunday, June 3rd, 2012, Members of the Quesnel RCMP executed a Search Warrant in connection to this shooting.  Shortly after noon on Sunday, the Warrant to Search was executed on a Red Bluff Road property which resulted in the seizure of a quantity of cocaine, heroin and two prohibited weapons. 
 
The Quesnel RCMP say the shooting was a  targeted attack, as the  occupants of the residence which was  targeted, knew the alleged  shooters.
 
Investigation into this shooting continues and police are anticipating further arrests and charges.

Give the idiot a life sentence, then he’d learn something about being a criminal in the big house! Only thing is he will probably get a slap on the wrist for endangering inocent bystanders!
