Drug Bust Near 100 Mile House

100 Mile House- A man is facing numerous charges after the RCMP North District Integrated Marihuana enforcement task force raided a grow op on Mahood Lake Rd near Deka Lake , 40 kilometers east of 100 mile house.
Police were there to execute warrant for the theft of hydro when two grow ops were discovered last Friday.
A total of 1692 plants were seized along with about 8 lbs of dried bud and growing equipment.
The man makes his first court appearance on September 4th facing several charges.

An utter waste of taxpayers money. Legalize it and tax it.
Alcohol is worse than weed and yet its legal and taxed.
Court date September 4th? Methinks the judge has a very LARGE in-basket. I know for sure (almost) this “alleged suspect” is out and about. Keeping him in the slammer until then, along with the time served provision, after he “probably” gets sentenced the Crown will owe him. If it was me I’d take cash along with an apology and a get out of jail coupon for my next run in with John Law.
