Heavy Rainfall On The Way

Tuesday, June 5, 2012 @ 1:25 PM
Environment Canada infrared Satellite image shows storm  in the north east, and  one developing in Alberta

Prince George, B.C.- A rainfall warning is in effect for Prince George and much of the BC Interior through tomorrow.

Locally,  there could be 10- 15mm of rain tonight, and heavy rain again tomorrow with 15-25mm of rain expected.

Rainfall amounts up to 80 mm are expected for the Peace River region through Wednesday evening as  remnants of a low pressure system move through that area.

Environment Canada advises that rain will intensify tonight as another low pressure system develops over Southern Alberta and will result in heavy rain over much of the B.C. Interior tomorrow as that low stalls over Alberta.

I hope it doesn’t wash the road out again in the Pine Pass. It’s a long drive if you need to go around through Jasper to get back to PG from FSJ….

Still waiting with my umbrella.

It is raining lightly now …

It’s like waiting for that winter storm …. most this past winter were false warnings ….

I think meteorologists are forcasting for too large an area …… the plateau is different from the mountains.
