5 Years, and Still No Word on Fate of Lucas Degerness

Thursday, June 7, 2012 @ 3:58 AM
Prince George, B.C.- It was five years ago today that Lucas Degerness was last seen.

He was just 14 when last seen at   Prince George Secondary School in Prince George, after a sleep over at a friends place.

Since then,   the efforts to find the teen have run into a brick wall.
His family has held a vigil on  January 29th , Lucas’s birthday, each year since he disappeared.  He would be nearly 19 ½ now, and still no word on what happened to him.
Later today, RCMP   will be joined by Lucas’s mother and grandfather, as well as investigators with the Missing Children’s Society of Canada in an effort to get someone to step forward with the key piece of information that will resolve the case.

"We want to let people know that they can contact MCSC as well as the RCMP on this case," said Ted Davis, Investigator with MCSC. "Should you wish to contact MCSC, you can choose to remain absolutely confidential and anonymous. Together with the RCMP, our only focus is to resolve this case, and bring some answers for Lucas and his family."
