Look-ee-Loos Cause Accidents on Bridge in Quesnel

Wednesday, June 20, 2012 @ 4:12 PM
Quesnel-Quesnel RCMP are asking motorists to pay attention to their driving rather than watching The Fraser and Quesnel River as they drive by.
There have been several reports of accidents on the Moffat Bridge created when people slow down to see the river.
Quesnel RCMP realizes that the traffic flow pattern has been disrupted and they ask that you obey detours and also do your part.

This is news? Slow day at 250.

Same thing in PG. People are brain dead.

Went through Quesnel this morning traffic was at a crawl even worse than it usually is. Bypass needed highway traffic shouldn’t be on Front Street.

Traffic has been terrible it all stems from West Quesnel, as the traffic from Bouchie lake had to be re-routed. The only traffic flowing nicely is the Bouchie Lake traffic.

We have all these nice people stopping to let the Bouchie lake traffic go. Mean while the highway traffic and the Westside traffic backs up for many blocks.

After this accident (4 cars) the highway was backed up all the way up dragon Lake hill.

It is crazy, but with patients we will survive it. At School time in the morning and afternoon, as well as our 4:00 – 5:00 rush hour, give yourself lots of time.

Have a great day all. :-)

YES!!! We do need a bypass.

My first reaction to this headline was to try to figure out which band the Look-ee-Loos are and what they were doing near Quesnel.

Sure it’s time for a highway bi-pass to be put in, another election promise they’ll forget right after they’re elected, like they have for over 30 years now. Don’t trust the pliticians cause they will lie through their teeth!

Apparently a bypass has been serveyed but the Quesnel politicians don’t want to see it happen.

Is that anything like the Prince George bypass (the Goat River -McBride route) that was surveyed 20 years ago that supposedly PG politicians don’t want?

Quesnel should be happy with this new tourist attraction.
Is somebody going to sell hot dogs at the bridge?
I can see potential here for a money maker!
Maybe Community Futures could set somebody up with a pile of tax payers money.

Oh, and about that bypass…..shut up you guys!
The bypass is only discussed DURING election campaigns not AFTER the election!!!!
