Fraser Creeping Up Again

Prince George, B.C.- While a flood watch remains in effect for Prince George, the Fraser River is expected to peak at about  9.5 metres today or early tomorrow,  then recede to 8.299 metres by Friday.
The evacuation orders and alerts remain in effect, and the Emergency Operations centre for both the City of Prince George and the Regional District of Fraser Fort George remain open.

They are Stupid and so is the “expert” they took the advice from. This fiasco should put a lot of egg on council faces. That dike did nothing for anyone in SFG. We are paying RCMP a small fortune to sit and idle cars every day. The only good thing that came from this Gong Show is the presence of the RCMP and the interaction they have with the public. Being able to speak with RCMP members is not really a common happening in PG. They are approachable and that opportunity gives a lot of us a more positive perspective of the Force. That said, there are a few younger fellows with some “attitude” which can be expected,.
