Local Retailer’s Canoe Sales Up the Creek Without Inventory
Prince George, B.C.- Some thieves have taken off with more than a dozen canoes and kayaks from a Prince George retailer.
RCMP say a lock on the outside compound had been cut in order for the thieves to gain access to the canoes and kayaks. In all, 16 canoes and kayaks were taken sometime after store closing on Sunday June 24th and before store opening on Monday June 25th.
These items are not normally targeted by thieves, but are easily recognizable to the public.
The Prince George RCMP are asking for the public’s help in recovering these items and locating the person or persons responsible for the theft.
Police are asking that you report any unusual activity involving canoes and kayaks. There is a chance that these items will be removed from the Prince George area in order for thieves to avoid detection.
