Highway 16 Open

Prince George, B.C. – Highway 16, about 40kms east of Prince George, has been re-opened to traffic as investigators have concluded their work at the scene of a fatal collision.
Just before 8 this morning, a Ford Mustang heading westbound, collided with an eastbound chevy pick up.
The driver of the Mustang was prnounced dead at the scene. The passenger in his vehicle was sent to hospital and is listed as being in stable condition. The driver of the pick up and the passenger in that truck were also sent to hospital with serious injuries. The passenger is said to be in critical condition.
While investigators are still piecing together what happened, witnesses say the Mustang had been weaving all over the road, prior to the collision.
The names and hometowns of those involved in the crash have not yet been made available.
