What took them so long to announce this? The employees got their notice along time ago.
High staff turnover leads to cheaper down time?
What are the chances of them bringing up U.S. goods at U.S. prices? Slim and none? I thought so.
I tried to walk into a Target once….but I missed
Nice comment, Canadian bigot.
American retailers? Scum dogs? Tsk. Tsk. Tsk.
Some stores that you probably shop at that are American owned.
Home Depot
Sears Canada
Hudson Bay Co
Winners
Costco
Walmart
There are many many more, including all, or most of the gas companies. So unless you are going to severly limit your shopping opportunities you WILL shop at American Stores.
A lot of people are so quick to put down the USA, take a moment and think where we would be without our neighbors to the south.
Maybe take a few moments, think about it real hard….
Zellers is owned by the Hudson’s Bay Company. HBC is owned by the American company NRDC Equity Partners.
Zellers hasn’t been anything more than the reject pile for The Bay in a long time. The Prince George store is in disrepair and nobody seems to care. Target will at least take an active role in upkeep of the store.
Any store that won’t let veterans set up out front for remembrance day will not get my money. Target is a French owned company and if not for our veterans it would have been German owned .
BCRacer, please clarify where you found the information that states Canada is the ‘2nd’ most hated country in the world.
Target Corporation, doing business as Target, is an American retailing company headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is the second-largest discount retailer in the United States, behind Walmart.
Not quite the French corporation someone believes it is.
I usually shop where it get the best service and reasonable prices, backed by a no-questions return for refund if the Chinese didn’t do a goog job making whatever it is.
