Search Continues for Overdue Motorcyclist
Valemount, B.C. – Valemount RCMP are hoping the public can help locate a motorcyclist who has not been seen or heard from in 5 days.
Dennis Gordon Gudmundson was riding his blue 2003 Harley Davidson m/c Alberta license #PAGE564 from Fort Saskatchewan, AB, to Keremeos. He was expected to arrive in Keremeos on July 7th, but didn’t show.

Investigators have since pinged his cell phone and due to the last known signal, believe GUDMUNDSON may be in the Blue River area by Valemount B.C. The fact Gudmundson has not tried to contact his family or friends is very much out of character.
RCMP Air Services along with Search and Rescue have been covering the vast forest and numerous logging service roads and trails that encompass the area.
Dennis Gordon Gudmundson is described as:
- Caucasian male 61 yrs old
- 5’9"
- 194 lbs
- gray hair, goatee
- blue eyes
"We are asking families who are out camping this weekend to please keep an eye out for Mr. Gudmundson or his motorcycle" says
Cst. Lesley Smith, North District Media Relations Officer "There are so many campsites and service roads that need to be explored and we hope that someone may come across a clue that can lead us to Mr. Gudmundson’s location."
