As part of their Community Involvement Days, the two Prince George Sandman Hotels hosted their 6th annual garage sale last month.  Over the past six years The Sandman Team has raised close to $60,000.00 for various organizations, in the  Prince George community.

This year, proceeds of the garage sale topped more than $11,000.00!

Sandman  Hotel Executive General Manager David Richinski says  many thanks for the success of the garage sales have to  be given to those who made  donations of goods, the local businesses that contributed to the Silent Auction table, and to all those who attended the event. "It is the collaborated effort from all these people that makes this event the success that it is. Simply put; it is people helping people, helping people. This year has proved to be no exception, rising over $11,000.00 for a very well deserved charity. We are happy to contribute to the RCMP’s Victim Services Program".

The Prince George RCMP’s Victim Services Unit is a not-for-profit organization that provides the members of the community with practical and emotional support to victims of crime and other trauma.
